Artist Statement

Storytelling has many different elements that all help to reveal the unique account of someone's life. Photography is one of the most direct storytelling mediums that still leaves room for the viewer to have their own personal interpretation. My photography reflects the depth of human experience by offering a glimpse into the vibrancy of cultures that fuse our world together. I love documentary and street photography, emphasizing the colorful and structural elements for any given scene. My work is driven by an insatiable curiosity about the stories that define us and a profound appreciation for the inherent beauty found in our diverse ways of living. Through my work, I desire to share the joy of learning with others. My photography allows me to start a conversation with different communities and gain understanding to share. Each of us are created beautifully but often don't get the chance to believe it. I make images that richly connect people by displaying shared experiences of the human existence.

My approach to photography is rooted in a deep respect for the subjects I document. I strive to approach each scene with love and an open mind, allowing the character of the culture and its people to shine through. In every frame, I aim to tell a story that resonates with both the individual and the universal, celebrating the unique, while highlighting the common threads that connect us all. Through this exploration, I hope to inspire viewers to see the world through a different mindset, embracing the beauty of our collective diversity and the power of storytelling through imagery.
